Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-08-03T08:38Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
Activity ID: 2026-08-03T08:38:00-CME-001 (version 2)
Source Location: N22W12
Active Region Number: 14498
Note Keyword:
FOV: Front Bright front; may be evidence of pileup
GAP: Data gap
Ha: Bright emission (likely H-alpha emission)
PRM: Prominence material (filamentary structures)
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
OFL: Moving/Opening field lines
BR: Brightening
DIM: Dimming
Morphology Keyword:
O: Other
Note: CME observed to the NE in only STEREO A COR2, likely obscured by the pylon in GOES CCOR-1. The CME is unavailable in SOHO LASCO C2/C3 real-time due to a downlink gap. The likely source is AR 14498, observed in SDO AIA 304 first as a filament liftoff with surface brightening starting around 2026-08-03T07:10Z, followed by a wider swath of faint dimming and brightening starting around 2026-08-03T08:16Z in SDO AIA 171/193, all centered ~N22W12.

Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
